Non-Residential Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Grants – Pacific Power

 

Overview

Grant opportunities are available for electric transportation projects in Oregon.

Oregon electric mobility grants can cover up to 100% of the eligible costs of studying, planning, promoting or deploying electric transportation technology and projects.

Grant matching and grant writing support are also available to non-residential customers who are pursuing EV-related projects.

Electric mobility grant funding is available to non-residential customers in Oregon. Funding awards will cover up to 100% of the eligible costs associated with studying, planning, promoting, or deploying electric transportation technology and projects.

The grants are designed to support projects that advance electric transportation in underserved communities, including areas without ample access to public charging.

Funding for this grant is made possible by the Oregon Clean Fuels Program administered by the state Department of Environmental Quality. The goal of the Clean Fuels Program is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from Oregon’s transportation fuel

Grant matching support funds are also available to non-residential customers in Oregon who are planning to secure additional funding to support Pacific Power customers with EV-related projects. Grant matching support is designed to offset the costs projects related to transportation electrification. Support may cover up to 100% of eligible costs requested through Pacific Power. Applicants for grant matching support should review the eligibility requirements, definitions, and terms and conditions before applying. The applicant will need to share plans to pursue and secure additional funding, the project and how it would benefit Pacific Power customers, and a demonstrated need for grant matching support.

Microgrants are available for grant writing support for non-residential customers to apply to EV-related grants to support Pacific Power customers. Applicants will need to demonstrate how the project would result if that grant were secured and how it would benefit Pacific Power customers, and a demonstrated need for grant writing support.

Timeline

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.

Eligible Expenses

Support may cover up to 100% of costs associated with internal or external support to write and develop a grant proposal. In order to receive the final grant writing support payment, a copy of the completed intended grant application must be sent to Pacific Power.

Requirements

All Pacific Power customers in Oregon on a non-residential electric service schedule are eligible to apply for program funds with preference given to community-focused organizations, such as 501(c)(3); city, county and regional governments with demonstrated need for funding; and nonprofit organizations and governmental entities serving or representing traditionally underserved communities and Pacific Power residential customers. Non-residential includes multi-unit dwelling sites on a non-residential electric schedule. To be considered, applicants must:

  • Submit an application
  • Demonstrate need for grant writing support
