On January 1, 2023, Washington State joined the ranks of cutting-edge states including California and Oregon in their implementation of the Clean Fuel Standard (CFS). In this episode of The Charge Cycle we talk to Joel Creswell, climate section policy manager of the Washington State Department of Ecology (ECY), who implements clean fuel policy for the state. Joel explains how equity and equitable access are top priorities of the CFS and how overburdened communities benefit.
