Turn your solar production into revenue.
FuSE registers your generating systems, verifies monthly production, and sells the Renewable Energy Certificates they earn — with no upfront cost to you.

One certificate for every megawatt-hour
A Renewable Energy Certificate represents the environmental attributes of one megawatt-hour of renewable generation. Install solar and produce five megawatt-hours, and you have earned five certificates.
The certificate can be separated from the electricity itself. The power flows to the grid or to your own load; the certificate is sold separately to a buyer who wants to claim renewable energy use, whether to meet a sustainability commitment or a regulatory obligation. You can also retire your own certificates to substantiate a clean energy claim of your own — but you cannot do both, since each certificate is single-use.
Because the two are separable, an array that was built for another reason entirely can produce a second, independent revenue stream without changing how it operates.
From installed array to sold certificate
Registration
We register each eligible generating system with the appropriate tracking registry — WREGIS across the western United States — and prepare the assignment paperwork that authorizes FuSE to originate certificates on your behalf.
Verified production data
Generation is monitored on an ongoing basis, and verified production data is submitted to the registry every month.
Certificate issuance
The registry issues one certificate for every megawatt-hour of verified generation. Once issued, certificates are tradable.
Sale into the market
We manage the sale of issued certificates in the environmental marketplace, aggregating volume across our portfolio rather than selling each system's output in isolation.
Payment and reporting
Certificate counts, sale revenue, and supporting documentation are visible in the FuSE platform, alongside any clean fuel program credits your sites generate.
Fees only on what sells
FuSE deducts its fees from the resulting revenue. There is no upfront cost, and no charge for systems that don't produce.
What we'll need from each system
Registration is document-driven. Most of these already exist in your project files from the original installation.
Requirements vary with system size and registry. We confirm exactly what applies to your portfolio before anything is filed.
We work both sides of this market
Selling certificates is only half of what we do with them. FuSE also buys and retires certificates on behalf of EV charging clients, to bring the carbon intensity of dispensed electricity to zero under clean fuel programs. We are in this market continuously, on both the buy side and the sell side.
If you operate solar and charging together, both sit inside one platform and one relationship — certificates originated from your generation, credits generated from your chargers, reported and monetized by the same team.

Send us your system list with sizes and interconnection dates, and we'll confirm which are eligible and what they're likely to generate.
